I believe everyone needs a little bit of fun in their life. To me, fun can be many different things, from a hike, to traveling to a beer with friends. AND YES, I said beer! but I guess I don't give that impression. But I do, I like to have a beer here and there. I don't have them everyday or every weekend, but I do enjoy having a drink, because well, I am human!

I think after a long week of work plus tons of training, I felt like I needed some kind of fun, so when I saw that Brunches of Boston had this event I had to say yes. Because what a great opportunity to workout at one of the best gyms in Boston and then go for Brunch to meet new people, RIGHT?

But let me start by the fact that I got lost and missed 15 minutes of the workout! yep! I went to an earlier workout and walk to Back Bay straight after, convinced that the event was going to be held on that area. I sat down, had breakfast and a long conversation with Sam.

No rushing at all and purposely walking slower so I didn't arrive earlier, I made it to the Equinox at Dartmouth St. Once arrived, I told the front desk to please indicate me where the event with Brunches of Boston was and the only answer I got was a confused face and a WHAT??? I knew right then I was at the wrong location.

If I was a regular human, that rather be at home than working out, I would have taken the opportunity to walk out of the door straight to my apartment, specially after the first workout that morning. But no, I am a bit crazy, so I ran to the train station, hopped on the next train and ran to the right Equinox location. With embarrassment, I walked in front of the group to make my way inside and wrap the equipment needed. Did I mention, I had to walk back to my corner with a yoga mat, one medicine ball and two dumbbells? I was so embarrassed, so I quickly walk to my corner and joined the workout. 

Even though I missed half of the workout, I was suffering. The trainer knew exactly how make us earn that mimosa. 4 rounds of plyos, weights and tons of leg exercise. I was sweating so much and quickly sore. We finally finished, take the official photo and walk to the must earned brunch ever! 

It was my first time at WareHouse, but not the last. The mimosas were yuummy and not too sugary, to my surprise. The brunch was also super good, I had a breakky sandwich (all vegan of course!) with potatoes and the best company around my table. I think that seating next to strangers is the best! I got to know a few new ladies that actually know a few Boston friends!

One of the best parts was the goodie bag with chocolate and cool BOB swag!
