Spend more time comfort eating than core carving this winter? No fear.

I am ready to get back into the swing of things with this challenge. This is why I want to bring you the Ultimate Plank Challenge. You won't find just any "hold a plank for 30 seconds" business here. We're talking moves that challenge and sculpt like never before. And none of 'em are done in vain (yes, even if your goal is to look awesome in a bikini). Each day builds upon the last, leading to new challenges at the end of 10 days. Think: Planks with purpose. Follow along and get ready to reveal abs that wow. Don't forget to share your progress on Instagram and Twitter using #LetsPlankChallenge.

This Challenge will be divided in 3 phases: each phase will be 10 days long. No rest days.We are here to build core strength!

Phase 1: will be focused on your plank form and strength. We will start with basic holds, and we will build it up. By day 10, you should be able to hold a perfect plank for at least 2 minutes.

Phase 2: This phase is more of interval plank training. Same basic plank holds but divided in circuits. It will increase your heart rate, so make sure to take extra breaks if needed. A few more challenging moves will be added. Make sure to look for form here! We don’t want to get hurt.

Phase 3: Last phase is where we add longer holds and longer intervals. A lot of side planks to shape up and strengthen our obliques!

I know we are excited to start the #LetsPlankChallenge but let’s be honest, after 10 days you might find millions of excuses to not do it! So here comes some rules and prizes. We are going to keep each other accountable while you get the chance to win some nice swag!

1. Make sure to check my blog, I will post each phase every 10 days

2. Post a photo or video showing your daily plank and hashtag #LetsPlankChallenge

3. Bring a buddy! The more buddies you bring, you get yourself an extra point to win some swag. Use #LetsPlankChallengeSquad so I can see who you are inviting!

I will be writing daily entries with our progress that means that I will look for your photos and feature them on my blog!

The girls that finish the plank challenge with me, will have the chance to win some cool swag. I am talking protein powders, snacks, clothing and more! I AM NOT JOKING!
