This smoothie is one of my favorite ones. It not only has all the nutrients from the spinach but is creamy and sweet. I will drink this on a Sunday morning or when I am rushing to get out off the door.
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey (optional)
If adding honey, make sure to buy a brand that doesn't add any other sweeteners to it.
TIP: if you meal prep, you can freeze the bananas and spinach. I do that every Sunday, and that way I save time in the mornings when I need to rush.
