MUST ON MY FRIDGE AND PANTRY  to stay healthy

I have been loving sharing a meal diary over instagram stories, and receiving feedback and questions about it. I know sometimes it might seem like it is easy for me to make healthy choices, but like you, I am guilty of having ice cream and chips here and there. But to be honest, I do eat very clean most of the time. It has become easier and easier with time, and the fact that I make health a priority.

There are some things I do that help me to stick to it a bit easier. Like always having healthy and whole foods in my apartment. 

It might sound redundant, and a bit cliche, but if isn't in your apartment, you won't eat it. 

I strive to eat as clean as possible, and over time I have found what are the meals and ingredients I love. It took some trial and error, but now I know by heart what to buy at the super market, how much of it, and what can I cook it with. Sometimes I experiment and change it up, but these are vegetables and more that I always have at home:

  • Tempeh
  • Tofu
  • Russet Potates
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Zuchinis
  • Cucumber
  • Spices (cinnamon, chipotle powder, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika)
  • Liquid aminos
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Frozen Blueberries
  • Frozen Mangos
  • Mix of greens, spring mix and spinach are my go-to, Matt prefers Kale. 
  • Bnanas
  • Apples
  • Red onion
  • Bell pepper
  • Avocados
  • Tortillas
  • Legumes (black and pinto beans, chickpeas)
  • Pizza bases

It is such a short list if you think about it, but you could create so many recipes with it. Some weeks we add more stuff, and try new things, but no matter when you visit us, you can always find these items. They are versatile, you can find them anywhere, and super delish!
