Detox Green Smoothie
My mums ultimate detox smoothie. I remember her drinking this smoothie every time she wanted to detox her body or do a cleanse. I didn't like it when I was younger but is part of my staple greens now.
Super simple to make, no need for fancy ingredients. Simple ingredients such as ginger and pineapple will help relieve digestive problems and act as anti-inflammatory.
1 cup of pineapple (can be frozen)
1 table spoon of chop ginger
a handful of spinach
1 celery stick
add 1 or 2 cups of water and couple ice cubes
Method & tips:
Blend them all together.
It can serve 2, but it will depend how much water you put it. As well, it can have a lot pulp in it, but if you mix more water in it, it will have a smoother consistency, making it easier to drink!
