Bow & Arrow - Lash extension review
Lashes life ...wooh wooh!
I've been considering getting my lashes done for ages! Since I normally don't wear much make up, or pretty much none, specially if I will be either teaching or working out. I just hate the feeling of make up when I am all sweaty, and isn't good for your skin either way.
I kept seeing friends looking all fab at 5:30 am and kept wondering how, so I asked, and guess what? all of them used lash extensions. I kept wanting to do them but never knew where to go.
Until Meghan, from Bow a arrow reach out to me. I saw her work and automatically said yes. I just loved everything she had done. Meghan is a Make up artist, brow and lash specialist at Brow and arrow. She has over 10 years of experience and she is the coolest.
Bow and arrow is located in the north end. Is cute little space on the second floor, with view to hanover street. I've never had lash extensions before, so I was a bit scared of the whole process but Meghan made it super easy to understand.
So what is it?
Basically, lash extensions are like your lashes only longer and are applied individually to your natural lash. Mines are synthetic, aka not real!
It takes around 2 hours and half to get a full set, and is recommend it to refill them every 2-3 weeks. To take care of them is super easy, and you don't have to wear mascara, so happy days!
They didn't irritate my eyes at all, i just got a bit of tears one it was done but that was it. Meghan gave me a little brush to put them back in place in the morning, and that is it.
I do want to keep them so I will be going back in a couple weeks for a refill! but if you don't refill them, they would last around a month.
Have you tried them? and if so, what do you think?
