Super Easy Vegan Choc-Maca Oatmeal


It is getting super cold here in Boston and my oatmeal breakfast is making a come back. Is like i forgot about it during summer because I swapped with smoothie bowls and so on, but now that it's colder I'm craving some warm oats. 

A couple years ago, i would eat oatmeal all year round and loved it. Oatmeal it is the easiest breakfast to meal prep, or prep under 5 minutes. I swear, anyone can do it. 

It is also the the easiest meal to fit on my macros. I'm currently increasing my calorie intake and carbohydrates, and oh boy it is hard! I used to think that how hard would it be, you just eat more. But i swear I can pop anytime soon. Anyway, we will speak about my macros experience another day. 

This oatmeal mix it is super yummy and simple, but it also has great antioxidant and energy boos benefits from the cacao and maca powder.

  • 1/2 Cup organic rolled oats**
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder*
  • 1 cup home made almond milk 
  • 1 tbsp of PRANA probiotic chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp of Maca Powder**


  • cacao nibs*
  • Peanut butter powder, mixed in almond milk. 


  • On a bowl mix all ingredients and let sit 5 mins or overnight. The mix will get thicker because of the chia seeds expanding. If you leave them overnight, feel free to add more almond milk or hot water to mix them again. 
  • Add toppings! 


Cacao powder: balance hormonal mood swings, can help boost metabolism and result on shred fat, and contains over 700 compounds and the complex antioxidants.

Maca powder: increased fertility in both men and women, hormone balance, booster for the immune system, and  increased energy, stamina, improved sexual function, memory, and focus.

Home made Almond milk: I have been making my own nut milk for years, and I found that is super easy, but I also avoid fillers that companies add make the milk last longer, and added sugars. It also a great way to ditch dairy!
