Super Yummy Spirulina Chia Pudding

Super Yummy Spirulina Chia Pudding

I have been feeling creative and trying different ways to get extra nutrients while making food tasty and well, pretty. Who doesn't like that right?

A few days ago, I received a few messages on Instagram asking how do I make spirulina taste good, and honestly, it is pretty easy. It does have a weird not amazing smell, and if you add to much it does taste funny.

So I went ahead and created this blue chia pudding that you can meal prep and create in 10 minutes.

Enjoy!

SPIRULINA CHIA PUDDING

INGREDIENTS:

  • handful of almonds
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp of spirulina or 1 tablet (I use Vital Proteins)
  • 2 dates (or maple syrup for sweetener)

TOPPINGS:

  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond yoghurt (I used Kite hill)
  • 1/4 c blueberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 c raspberries

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blend all ingredients and let sit for at least 20 minutes, or overnight.
  2. Add toppings and enjoy!

Notes:

-You can use one cup of any nut milk instead of almonds and water, it will do the same consistency.
