treat yo'self - g2o Spa + Salon visit
When you grow up in the same area you get to find your favorite places for everything, restaurants, boutiques, salons and even favorite super market. When I was leaving in Mexico with my parents, I had the same handful of people that I trusted with salon type of services. I rarely changed places, and if I did, I would crawl back to them, 'cause well..I love them.
When I lived in NYC, I had a few places that I liked and frequent a lot. However, it was easy to find a good salon. But, when I moved to Boston, it took me forever. I swear, I have cut my hair a handful of times in the past couple years because I can't trust anyone. Same with mani and pedi! I have tried so many places, and left either with a "meh, it was ok" or completely broke. Either, I have hard time finding a good place.
A few days ago, I won a re-do hair style at G2O Spa Salon, with Tifanny. When I got there I was wowed by the place, the service and the staff. One thing is being nice with customers, but at G2O you are treated like a million bucks.
Tifanny created an amazing braid around my head, we took a few photos and took me around the Spa. They have five floors, yes, five! You can use the facilities, including the rooftop and the Skylight Hot Tub when you receive any service.
Once I left I knew I had to come back, and I did.
I treated myself with a classic mani and pedi, courtesy of G2O, a few days after. The whole thing was amazing. Soonest I got there, they asked me to choose a color from their million options. I am a sucker for choosing anything, so I had to asked for help. Jane, the Nail Technician, spend a few minutes helping me out, until we found something I liked.
I can't say enough of Jane, she was honestly the best. She took the time with me, no rushing or trying to get me out of there as soon as possible. We had a long chat about life in general, she make sure to ask if I needed anything and even helped me out to find a phone charger, cause well, my phone sucks, or I use it too much. We will never know :p
So, if you happen to live in Boston or be visiting, I highly recommend G2O! They will make you feel like a princess and well, we all need to treat ourselves here and there.
